The Town Hall Sessions

One of the core objectives of the Glossopdale Trust is to:

“Supporting the economic development of Glossop
through the promotion of music and the arts”

Our long term goal is to create a new Cultural Hub in the town centre owned & run by the community. But this is a long term project, so rather than wait for its completion, as a step on the way and to showcase the great musical talent in the town now, we decided to create The Town Hall Sessions – A music festival over the Bank Holiday weekend (25th-27th August) which will see over 30 acts performing in 8 venues across the town.

The festival will centre on The Town Hall Stage -in Norfolk Square – A stage that in the fullness of time will be in the Town Hall across the road.

You can find details of the festival including venues and the bands that will be playing, on the festival Website www.townhallsessions.com.
